Boson-Fermion Correspondence and the Jacobi Triple Product Identity

Abstract:

Interesting combinatorial identities more often than not have

representation theoretical interpretations. In this talk we discuss the

example of the boson-fermion correspondence and how it may be used to derive

the Jacobi Triple Product Identity.
