Combinatorics arised from VOA theory

Abstract:

This talk will be a survey of certain combinatorial techniques

related to the theory of vertex operator algebra (VOA). I will discuss

the relation between codes, lattice, design etc to the theory of VOA.

The stress will be on their application to the study of the Monster simple

group and the other sporadic groups.
