Abstract:
The study of the Aztec Diamond is still active, and many
results and elusive conjectures are found since its first appearance in 1992.
In this talk we survey some of the results and connections related with
the Aztec Diamond. Included is a recently published, arguably the simplest
proof of the Aztec Diamond theorem.
